Stop Failing in Network Marketing by Breaking this Cycle

Here it is Jan of 2012.  A new year and  a fresh beginning. I don’t know about you but I always get a little giddy at the beginning of the year because it seems to mark a time of new beginnings and a chance to get it right .

But you’re thinking to yourself, hmm, “if I didn’t do much last year, how am I going to make this year better? ” Perhaps you’ve already gone out and purchased some new products that are suppose to show you exactly what to do to, to “Make it”.  Well, from personal experience, I have never had any great breakthroughs from info in how to products.  Yes, I have learned a lot of things that are beneficial once you get past the wall that is holding you back, but first you have to get past the wall.

My personal goal in 2012 is to tear down the wall that has been holding me back .  If you are with me, leave a comment; We can cheer each other on.

 

I love Tony Robbins.  He makes sense to me.  I just watched a video he made about why most network marketers never reach the level of success they are striving for and interestingly, it’s the same reason  the rich get richer and poor get poorer.  He shared how to

Many times you will hear of a very successful network marketer with a great rags to riches story. They succeeded because they had more fear than you have. They were often times in desperate situations.  Very similar to when an alcoholic has to hit rock bottom before he/she can climb out of the confines of the addiction.  The point when the fear or realization that “I’m going to kill myself if I don’t stop drinking” .

Most of us, including me, are not in situations where we Need To succeed .  So here is what Tony Robbins says happens…

Let’s say you go out and buy a product that you think will help you jump to a new level in your business. You’re excited when you buy it because you feel your are making progress toward your goals.  Progress makes us excited and gives us belief that we can do it. We are only excited but we don’t have certainty that we will succeed because we have never done it before.  When you believe there is very little potential for success, you won’t take enough action which leads to less than stellar results which solidifies your belief and makes you the potential even less.  It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy of failure.

But you can stop failing in network marketing…

According to Tony Robbins, breakthrough happens by feeding your mind everyday.  Further, he says you need to create a ritual that puts you in a “State” because people take action when they are in a state.  One way to do this is to visualize already having what you want.   Your mind doesn’t know the difference.  A strange concept that I am still trying to wrap my brain around.

You need to find a way to put yourself into the state where you don’t have a choice.  Try visiting someone who has what you want, a big house, luxury car, etc. You will walk away feeling the need to get those things because your won’t feel satisfied with what you have now. Create the state of fear that you aren’t every going to have those things and the fear will drive you to go what you need to do.

When you get the results in your head your belief will change which will change your potential and you will stop failing in network marketing by breaking this cycle of failure .  In fact, once you break it, it will become a cycle of success-how the rich get richer.  Once we reach our goal, we will set a new goal because in order to be happy, we need to make progress.

To help you start visualizing, try going to  www.Oprah.com  and creating an online vision board.  You might even want to try a mind movie.  Make sure you use phrases like ” How am I able to effortlessly attract new prospects into my life “  .  If you check out mind movies on You Tube, you will see some great examples.
